This program offers a comprehensive course of study in all aspects of computer technology. The ACT house has recieved the endorsement of the Department of Education, Division of High Schools, on the basis of Lehman's long standing traditon of academic excellence and expertise in the filed of computer science education. 

Students accepted into this high-powered academy will have the  the use of the finest modern day equipment. In the past, students have had to wait untill college or even professional school to begin the kind of career exploration now open to ACT House members.

Students who successfully complete this program will have profited from a rich and varied academic curriculum with a concentration in programming, data processing, word processing, and computer electronics, as well as mathematics, the social sciences and natural sciences.

Not only is the Academy of Computer Technology a house at Lehman High School, we are also a second home for all students from Freshmen to Seniors. We encourage everyone to stop by room 238 and be an ACTive part of the ACT family!
